Terms of Service

These terms (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Palbot (“Palbot”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or otherwise using the service you agree to be bound by them.

1. The service

Palbot is a managed platform for deploying AI agents on messaging channels (WhatsApp, Telegram) and inside the Palbot dashboard. You configure an agent, connect a channel, and the agent replies to messages on your behalf using the tools, knowledge bases, and skills you install.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the credentials you use to sign in and for everything done under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend an account that is being used in violation of these Terms, applicable law, or the policies of any messaging provider we depend on.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Palbot to:

  • send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) or violate WhatsApp Business / Telegram terms;
  • impersonate another person or business;
  • collect personal data without lawful basis;
  • generate or distribute content that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, or that infringes intellectual property;
  • attempt to bypass safety, rate, or spend controls;
  • reverse engineer the service or expose internal credentials to third parties.

4. Content you provide

You retain ownership of the prompts, knowledge base documents, skills, and other content you upload (“Your Content”). You grant Palbot a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely to operate the service for you, including transmitting it to the LLM provider (Anthropic) and to any tools or MCP servers you have installed.

Skills uploaded via SKILL.md are user-supplied instructions injected into the agent’s context. You are responsible for the trustworthiness of skills you install — only install skills from sources you trust.

5. Third-party services

Palbot connects to third parties on your behalf (Meta / WhatsApp, Telegram, Anthropic, Stripe, Google, and any MCP servers you install). Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or data handling by those third parties.

6. Plans, payment, and spend caps

Free tier usage is metered against the monthly quota shown in your dashboard. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. You can configure a monthly spend cap; once the cap is reached we either route subsequent traffic to a smaller model or block further LLM calls until you raise the cap, based on your settings. Cancelling a paid plan stops further charges and downgrades the account to the Free tier at the end of the current billing cycle.

7. Service availability

We work to keep Palbot available but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may change features, pause functionality, or discontinue parts of the service with reasonable notice.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these Terms or if continued service would expose Palbot or our providers to legal or reputational risk. On termination, we retain data only as needed for legal, billing, and audit purposes.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid to Palbot in that period. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. We’ll surface material changes in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Contact
